We Contain Multitudes

These unique, one-of-a-kind figures are beautiful art objects that begin life as a simple sheet of copper. Photographs of figures are used to create outlines, which are then cut by hand with a jeweller’s saw. A small hoop is soldered to the rear, ensuring the piece hangs beautifully and is perfectly balanced. Layers of vitreous enamel are then sifted onto both the front and rear to achieve a balanced finish. The back of each figure is a deep, rich black, while the front features unique designs born from the unpredictable and organic nature of sifted enamel.

Ranging from 40mm to 70mm in height, these objects are stunning as standalone art or can take on new meaning as personal talismans. Each piece is a little reminder—a permission slip to be who you are, including the parts you’ve hidden or forgotten. They are a celebration that we all contain multitudes (thanks Walt Whitman) and that you are, in every way, enough. Carry your figure close when you need a gentle nudge back to your true self.

Your figure will be delivered with a lobster clasp to be used as a bag charm or keyring. Each piece is packaged with a backing card and enclosed in a small bag. As every figure is a unique, individually handmade enamel piece, the figure you choose is the exact one you will receive. Once sold, it will be gone, making it a truly unique and heirloom addition to your collection.
